Elementary Science
This course is based on the book Building Foundations of Scientific Understanding. It features a step-by-step approach to learning the building blocks of science. It alternates between four disciplines of science as it build knowledge:
- Nature of Matter
- Life Science
- Physical Science, Engineering and Technology
- Earth and Space Science
Lessons address all the major areas of science. Lessons build in systematic steppingstone increments so that there is a continual reinforcement and integration as learning advances. I am hopeful that this text will prove useful to teachers, homeschoolers, and parents interested in presenting science to beginning science learners, regardless of their age. -- Dr. Nebel
